First Snow

Today we had our first snow that accumulated. We got about an inch. We've seen snow several times already but it would melt as soon as it hit the ground. Kylie loved the snow! It's the first time she had ever seen any. Front of the house.

Across the street.

Backyard

I love the expression on her face! It's the first time she's ever been out in the snow. Pure joy!

She actually knew what to do in the snow. I guess she's seen something on TV with all of the Christmas programs that have been on. She layed down and made a snow angel although Kylie calls it a "Kylie angel". She also kept asking to make snowballs.

Below is a video of her looking at the snow out the window just after we had woken up that morning.

Thanksgiving

We had a nice time visiting everyone at Thanksgiving. Kylie really enjoyed her time with Baby Tay Tay. We got them to sit still long enough to take this picture. Kylie and Taylor seem to like each other a lot and they play well together. It will be fun to watch them continue to grow!

Kylie Gives Thanks

Kylie can say the blessing all by herself. We've been working on it for a long time probably since she started eating solid foods. She says"God is great. God is good. Let us thank Him for our food. Amen." Her "Amen" sounds like "all men".

Happy Halloween!

Just a couple of pictures of Kylie from Halloween. MiMi and PaPa also came to visit. The weather here was perfect for trick-or-treating. Kylie really enjoyed it. She was not shy at all about running up to people and saying "trick-or-treat" so she could get candy. She loved dressing up like Minnie Mouse again too.

Kylie was watching all the other children trick-or-treat as she ate her sucker.

We took a trip to the mall and this picture was taken at the play place.

Sunnyrock Farm

We took Kylie to Sunnyrock Farm last weekend. We fed goats and watched one get milked, held a baby chick (or squeezed one in Kylie's case) and went on a hayride to the pumpkin patch. We had a blast! The Fall and Halloween is so much more fun with a little one!

Feeding the goats.

Here is Kylie squeezing the baby chicks head...we had to remind her to be gentle. After we told her, she did much better.

She loved the pigs!

We are still looking at the pigs.

Petting a rabbit.

She was about to climb the gate to get into the pumpkin patch.

She had a good time playing with the hay in the wagon while we were waiting on people to get finished picking out pumpkins at the pumpkin patch.

I just thought this was a funny picture. She was making funny faces on the way to the farm.

Gymboree Halloween Party

We took Kylie to the Gymboree Halloween party last night and she had a blast! Here are some pictures and a couple of videos of her in her Minnie Mouse costume!

I thought this was a sweet picture. I was taking her picture out on the front porch and she saw Daddy come home from work and pointed and made that face.

On our way to the party!

Kylie's friend Naysa was also dressed like Minnie Mouse but had the pink costume.

Our craft project was decorating a tiny pumpkin.

Tuckered out from all the partying.

The Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch on Friday with our friends Meg, Ava and Jade. Kylie really enjoyed running and exploring through the pumpkin patch. She picked out a pumpkin that was shaped like a strawberry. We a planning a trip next week to another pumpkin patch where Kylie will get to milk a goat, hold a newborn chick and go on a hayride. I'll be sure to take some pictures! We hope you all have a happy Fall!

Kylie was singing a song and playing so pretty by herself in our backyard. In the video she says "I'm building a pumpkin patch" three times, then she says "and Minnie too", then she says "all fall down go boom"

The Family Visits!

GiGi, Uncle Taylor and Uncle Todd came to see us this weekend. USC was playing Kentucky and the guys went to the game and GiGi, Kylie and I had a girls day. These are some pictures from our visit to the aquarium. They had out some Halloween stuff which Kylie enjoyed almost as much as the fish!
Kylie loved playing the little drums that were around a large tank with fish in it right when you walk in.

The aquarium had a new section called the Frog Bog and Kylie loved it! They had these large frogs pictured above that you could press a button and it would ribbit. In the video below, she goes around to each frog and hugs it, then she says "That's so sweet" (referring to herself hugging the frogs) and then she goes back down the line and kisses the frogs!
