This is Kylie and Chris with the Cincinnati skyline behind them. There is a bridge called the "Purple People Bridge" that connects KY to Ohio that you can walk across. It's near the aquarium and when we went back this past weekend we walked across the bridge too.

Spaghetti Night in Kentucky

My First Haircut

We went to get Kylie's first professional haircut at Kiddie Kastle. Kylie got to sit in a car, have a sucker and watch "Little Nemo" while getting her haircut. She was so good and got a big red ballon when she was done. She had a good experience.

The Newport Aquarium

We have joined The Newport Aquarium so we can go whenever we want to! Kylie got to see the penguins, fish and sharks. She also touched a small crab and sting ray. She seemed to really enjoy her first trip. I think it is something we will all have fun doing together and it will be a good place to go during the winter months here. Enjoy the pictures and video!

It was 73 degrees today and I got to wear my short-sleeved shirt and my hair in a ponytail!

The Boone County Library

Kylie and I go to storytime at the library every Thursday morning at 11am. She doesn't have enough attention span to sit through the whole thing but we're working on it. It's a beautiful and impressive library and I think we'll have a lot of fun there.

The Weather

The temperature has been in the high 50's to low 60's during the day. It has also rained quite a bit. Kentucky truly has a "spring" where as Columbia goes directly from winter to summer. It might be a while before we are wearing shorts and short sleeves!

The Florence Mall

Kylie loves to go to the mall. There is a great padded play area called the Mammoth Playland that she really likes to go to. She has learned how to go down a slide there. She goes through a tree trunk, up two steps and down the slide all by herself (with Mom's supervision of course :> ) There is also a great two story carousel. When you all come and visit, we can take you there! We miss you all so much!

Easter Time!

Daddy took Kylie to Mt. Tabor to see the Easter Bunny! She loved the Easter Bunny and wanted him all to herself. After the pictures with the Easter Bunny, there was an Easter egg hunt. Kylie was more interested in the stone bunny out in the courtyard than the actual eggs! She also found a stick to play with which as most of you know is one of her favorite things! Happy Easter!

The Next American Idol!

Kylie picked up her bat yesterday and started using it like a microphone. She sang while holding the bat and looked at her reflection in the stove. Enjoy the clip!
