Daddy's Little Helper

After Daddy had finished mowing the grass, Kylie wanted to "pretend mow" the grass too. She was very interested in the lawn mower and watched Chris the whole time. This is our new lawn mower...we had to purchase another one because our old one would not cut through the grass since the grass here is so thick!

Kylie has been doing better at the pool. She seemed excited to go today and enjoyed sitting on the first step in the baby pool and playing with her toys. We're going to try and take her every weekend if possible to build her confidence back up with the water. Kylie models her itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini.

My Sandbox

I played in my sandbox for the first time yesterday. I had such a good time. I loved throwing the sand up in the air and letting it fall in my hair. I got very dirty and needed a bath afterwards. Mommy had a good time watching me.

Kylie's Play Date!

Kylie and Kennedy had a play date today. Kennedy was in town from Indiana visiting my friend Lindsey from next door. Kennedy will be 3 in October. Kylie and Kennedy played with Brutis- Lindsey's 6 week old puppy. They also played on the slide and swing set and blew bubbles! We hope you come and visit us again soon Kennedy!

Mother's Day Weekend

We came home to Columbia this past weekend for Mother's Day and here are some pictures from our trip. Some of these are from GiGi's house and Ted took Kylie "fishing" at the pond. He caught some small fish and put them in a coffee can and Kylie went crazy trying to catch the fish with her bare hand! She just loved it and it was so funny to watch! The video below shows her trying to catch the fish. There are also a couple of pictures of Lauren and little Taylor! We will see you all again soon!

Our New House!

I'm finally posting pics of the new house! It's still a work in progress. I'll keep posting the pics as we get curtains, a headboard for our bed and more pictures hung on the walls. We also have to tackle mounting our flat screen TV on the wall in the living room. We are enjoying being settled a little more but it's been non stop work! We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Chris & Kylie on the Bridge

This is Kylie and Chris with the Cincinnati skyline behind them. There is a bridge called the "Purple People Bridge" that connects KY to Ohio that you can walk across. It's near the aquarium and when we went back this past weekend we walked across the bridge too.
