Dress Up Time!

Kylie wanted to wear around my Lexington softball sweatshirt one day. She wouldn't take it off! I thought she looked pretty cute.

Apples Are Good!

Kylie saw some apples in the fridge and really wanted one so I washed one off and gave it to her. She's done this before and all she usually does is play with it but she actually ate it this time! She looks so grown eating the apple all by herself!

Fall Is Here!

It has finally gotten a bit cooler here. It's been in the 60's this week but I think I saw where it was going to be in the 70's again next week. I've enjoyed dressing Kylie is some of her new fall clothes. Not much has been going on just our weekly routine. I put out my Halloween stuff this past weekend and Kylie has been enjoying all of the pumpkin stuff.Kylie's Halloween shirt.

As you can see, Kylie really enjoyed her chocolate pudding for dessert one night.

Talking to the Animals

Kylie has been funny creating a dialogue with her animals lately. It's entertaining to watch. I got some of it on video. She usually does this every morning.

Finger Painting

I was feeling adventurous today and let Kylie finger paint out in the yard. I saw on the TV show Jon & Kate Plus 8 where Kate let her kids finger paint with chocolate pudding so I tried it. Kylie loved it and stayed pretty clean considering what she was doing. We had a great time.

Kylie's New Friend

Kylie has a new friend named Ava. Ava is two and is just 11 days older than Kylie. They love to play together. Ava's mom, Meg, and I have also become friends. Meg also has an 8 month old girl named Jade. It's been great to meet some nice people to have playdates with! Kylie and Ava at the park.

Kylie got a dollhouse with her birthday money and she just loves it! She plays with her little dolls and even her animals in the house.

Family Beach Trip 2008

We had a great time at the beach with MiMi, PaPa, GaGa, Uncle Cam, Baby Tay Tay, Big PaPa and Mrs. Peggy. Kylie had a good time. She was a little unsure of the ocean but enjoyed the pool and the "sandbox" (the beach). We can't wait to go back next year. A family shot.

Kylie's Strawberry Shortcake Party

Kylie had a Strawberry Shortcake birthday party with her friends while we were visiting in Columbia. She had a great time. We appreciate everyone who came to help her celebrate! Kylie models her Strawberry Shortcake bathing suit for the occasion.

August Trip to SC

We have had a great time in Columbia so far. We are so happy to see everyone! Kylie has been having a good time getting spoiled by the grandparents! GiGi and Ted gave Kylie a tricycle.

Happy 2nd Birthday Kylie!

Kylie turned 2 on August 16th! At the last minute we made plans to be in Columbia for her birthday. We had a small party for her on her actual birthday and we will be having a Strawberry Shortcake party for her later this month with some of Kylie's friends. She had a great day!Smile birthday girl!

Cincinnati Reds Game

We took Kylie to the Great American Ball Park to see the Cincinnati Reds play. She did great and sat through 7 innings of the game! It of course helped that GiGi, Syb, Todd and Taylor were in town to visit and we all took turns entertaining her. We all had a great time!Us in front of the ball park.
