Cherub Choir

Kylie sang at church this Sunday. I was surprised when she came out wearing a hat...Kylie was not at Sing and Celebrate this past Wednesday and they evidently made hats. They made her one too and I guess they gave it to her and she liked it so much that she decided to wear it for the performance!

Kara the Motor Boat

Kara has started the cutest new sound where she sounds like a motor boat.

Together Time

I haven't posted in a while. Kylie and Kara are doing well. Kara will be getting tubes for her ears this Wed. so we are hoping that will take care of all the ear infections. Kylie continues to do well in school and dance. She is a great big sister.
Kylie wanted to dress up as "Silvermist" and Kara is "Tinkerbell". Kylie wanted them to play fairies.

I'm not sure Kara liked dressing up too much.

I think Kylie could eat Kara sometimes!

Snow Day

Wow! Snow the day after Christmas! Kylie and Chris got out and had some fun. Kara and I stayed in.

Christmas 2010

We had a very nice Christmas this year. Kylie was especially fun...she's at the perfect age for Santa and presents.

They love each other so much!

Santa gave Kylie a "teacup piggie".

This was on Christmas morning and I thought they looked so sweet.

Aunt Paula made this Cocky outfit.

GiGi got Kylie this Rupunzel outfit.

The blonde hair cracks me up! Kylie is such the little poser too!

Merry Christmas!

Church Christmas Play

Kylie was a sheep in the church Christmas play this year. It was her first year being in it and she did a great job. You'll see in the video below that she was in her sheep character the whole performance. She has decided that she wants to be a mouse next year.

Field Trip

Kylie's preschool went on a field trip to the Lexington Museum. I went and thought it was a snooze fest. About 30 kids were crammed into an old house built in 1810 so of course there was no light. It was dark outside because it had been raining so you could hardly see anything and we listened to an old man talk about old toys for 45 minutes. I thought the children did exceptionally well for something so boring. They all said they had a good time though so what do I know :>Kylie after she got off of the bus. This was her first time riding a bus and she thought it was the greatest thing. The teacher said that you could load up all the kids and ride them around for 3 hours and they would have been entertained!
Kylie holding a replica of one of the first dolls.

This was a game where you started a wooden piece with two big notches at the top of this ladder and it would walk down the ladder by itself. I would say this was the highlight of the trip.

Okay...maybe the highlight was the horseraces.

I thought this picture summed up the trip. Kylie and Natalie seem to be saying..."Uh...yeah...we're having fun".

Halloween 2010

We had a great Halloween this year. Kylie really gets it now and was so excited to trick-or-treat. We went to the Boo in the Park at Mt. Tabor first and Taylor joined us there. The girls jumped in a jumpy castle and played games. Then we came home and Kylie went around the neighborhood to trick-or-treat with her friends Natalie and Kally.

Pumpkin Carving

I had never carved a pumpkin before so this was my first attempt and I think it turned out pretty good. Kylie picked out the design and helped me clean out the seeds.

Pumpkin Patch

The girls and I took a trip to Harmon's to pick out a pumpkin to carve. Kylie had a fun time picking out the pumpkin and playing on the playground there.

The Fair

Kylie and I went to the fair this year. She went with her friend Natalie and had a great time!

She said this rollercoaster was her favorite ride.
Yum...cotton candy!
